Why this blog ...This blog is a venue for me to share with you some of what I believe God is not only saying to me in this hour but His Church. My love relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit and intimacy with God began in the 1980s and I have kept journals of the things I believed He has spoken to me since then.
My only desire is to obey what God is telling me to do and to bless His people with encouragement. In these days the need to be strengthened in the Lord as David was is imperative. So much is happening in our world and it can cause the feeling of discouragement and confusion. If sharing the words that My God has imparted to me brings any comfort or direction to you than I have fulfilled what I believe was the purpose for this blog.
A little about me... I was raised in a Christian home by my mother and father and grew up with three sisters and a brother. My father moved in the prophetic and was apart of a leadership team for a Catholic Charismatic Prayer Community in our town. My high school years happened to fall during the height of what was called the Charismatic Renewal.
Throughout my teen years I was exposed to the Holy Spirit and the gifts mentioned in the book of Acts. In our home people gathered on a regular basis and the Holy Spirit moved freely indoctrinating my siblings and I to many of the prophetic gifts as well as deliverance. Seeing the life that was in these gatherings and the love of God manifested in my home in a way different than my Catholic roots birthed in me a desire for more of God. I became enamored with the beauty and wonder of the power of God and was especially drawn to hearing His voice like my father and mother. My parents inspired me to earnestly pray for the same ability to hear Him.
I humbly submit these precious words to you and as the scriptures speak test them by the Holy Spirit in your own heart. May God bless you with the desire to draw near to Him and to listen for His still small voice beckoning you to come and be apart of the most exciting and impacting time of the Church.
